Jack Howard Weymouth

Jack Howard Weymouth, age 80 of Plano, IL passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Northwestern Medicine Valley West Hospital in Sandwich, IL. He was born on March 15, 1941 in Aurora, IL the son of Bradford and Wilhelmina (Van Gemert) Weymouth.


Jack was united in marriage on September 1, 1962 to the former Mary Reader and they spent the next 59 years happily together. Jack was for many years, the Co-Owner and Operator of a local Tool & Die Company. Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.


Jack enjoyed spending time with his antique cars and talking about them with his fellow members of the Silver Springs Chapter of the Illinois Region AACA.  He also enjoyed restoring and tinkering with his many hit and miss engines and attending the annual Sandwich Engine Club at the Sandwich Fair.


Jack is survived by his wife, Mary Weymouth of Plano, IL; his sons, Jeffrey (Cindy) Weymouth of St. Charles, MO and Bradley (Jennifer) Weymouth of Plainfield, IL; his six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his brother, John (Bernadette) Weymouth of Earlville, IL; his sister-in-law, Rita Weymouth of LaGrange, IL; and his two nieces and one nephew.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Bradford and Wilhelmina Weymouth and his brother, Thomas Weymouth.


A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 West South Street in Plano, IL. Interment will take place at a later date.


Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Nelson Funeral Home in Plano, IL.
